Start by Turning Off the Fan

Clean the Fan Blades

For sticky dirt or buildup, use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild cleaning solution. Do not use too much water, especially on wooden blades or near the motor.

Wipe both sides of each blade. You can also clean the light fixtures, pull chains, and other visible parts of the fan.

Check for Loose Parts

After cleaning, inspect the fan carefully. Check the screws that connect the blades to the fan and the screws that hold the fan to the ceiling mount. Over time, screws can become loose, which may cause the fan to wobble.



Use a screwdriver to gently tighten any loose screws. Be careful not to tighten them too much, as this could damage the parts.
